It appears that Russia is having difficulty providing its soldiers in Ukraine with food and fuel, and these hungry Russian soldiers are turning to looking stores to get the food they need. This is a sign that Russia does not have complimentary mobility within Ukraine and that its supply lines are not reaching their troops.
On one hand, this is a sign that the Russian invasion is slowing down, but on the other hand it could lead Russia to turn to using longer range missiles rather of relying on front-line soldiers, which they appear to have deserted to fend for themselves. An army that relies on looting is undisciplined and apparently out of control, a bad sign for the Russian army in Ukraine.
