Ukraine drone pilots have attacked and destroyed many of Russia’s tanks, armored vehicles, and other heavy equipment.
They have been a game changer, providing Ukraine forces with intelligence, tracking Russian troop movements, destroying Russian equipment, and terrifying Russian soldiers, who typically duck, run, and hide when they hear a drone coming.
Drone operators have been creative at repairing and building drones to augment the supply they have and replace those that are lost in the field. In this video, one of the Ukraine Drone Pilots describes the sorry state of many of Russia’s combat units, which have been cut off from their supply lines and are without food, water, and military supplies.
Ukraine Drone Pilots, known as the Aeroozvidka, have immobilized a 40 mile long Russian convoy. Ukraine forces have used a combination of tactics to immobilize Russian ground forces, including flooding large areas along roadways to force the Russians to stay on the roads or get stuck in the mud, and then attacking the vehicles while they are lined up in long convoys on the road, either from drones, with shoulder-launched missiles, or with hand-thrown gasoline fire bombs.

Amazing how technology obsoletes everything pretty quickly. Having these tanks, jets and even these huge battleships have become ineffective by a bunch of guys with little drones or bigger drones but still drones hiding somewhere where not much can be done to them.
Elon, please send 1 million drones to these heros. A drone full of diesel fuel sucked into a jet or helicopter intake becomes a NO fly zone. Drive them out soon so we can rebuild this beautiful Ukraine 🇺🇦.
Why diesel? It can be battery; the effect you are talking about is a man made bird strike. Knock out one of the engines and at minimum, turn around and go home. Maximum, you have a pilot ejecting and now another POW enjoying some Ukrainian “hospitality”.
In the 90’s, when Ukraine declared independence from the USSR, wasn’t it already considered a neutral state and had to give up most of it’s nuclear and conventional weapons to Russia to secure this? Weren’t it’s neutrality and the integrity of it’s borders supposed to be guaranteed then by Russia, USA and the UK ? What happened to this so called guarantee by these three superpowers? Just asking.

Аеророзвідка, Please consider using anti-jamming technology like the “GPS dome” made by infinidome, etc. It is worthy to consider the wide variety of electronic countermeasures you can use to protect your drones and make them an effective fighting force, like spread spectrum, diversity receivers using adaptive nulling of the interference source, etc.

I do wonder why we haven’t jet built the equivalent of fighter jets or bombers designed to be piloted purely by someone hooked up to a good VR interface. One could make them considerably smaller and harder to hit, and for some important targets they would have double the range as there would be no pilot to bring home. Then again maybe this has been developed but is being kept as an ace up the sleeve.
I believe you are thinking of the same thing as I was. I know jet engines burn a ton of fuel (even RC ones). But can you imagine something to the effect of a Vietnam era RA-5 Vigilante in scale form? Fast, aerial reconnaissance, and seeing how they have dropped mortars with the drones pictured in the film, release one from the “stores train” on top of a tank. Keep in mind A-5s were HUGE; this is not out of the realm of possibility if someone with the knowhow and equipment to build this or something of the like. It could potentially be there and gone before it could be jammed.

I of course cannot buy even a wheel for one aircraft for Ukranian Air Force, but for drone I think it’s possible.
