Russian army losses continue to accumulate as the Ukraine army refines its techniques for defense against the invading Russian army.
Improvised defenses that the Russian army has used, such as attaching logs to the sides of their tanks, have not been effective at preventing huge losses of Russian military equipment.
Russian Losses in Ukraine Continue
As reported on the official Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on April 10 2022,
the Russian army continues to sustain heavy losses of soldiers and equipment, including:
- Over 19,000 soldiers and related military personnel
- 722 Tanks
- Over 1900 armored personnel vehicles and 1384 other vehicles
- Over 340 pieces of artillery
- 55 anti-aircraft systems
- Over 150 airplanes
- Over 130 helicopters
- 112 drones
