The Zaporizhzhia Ukraine Nuclear Power Plant has been captured by Russian soldiers after extensive damage and fire broke out due to shelling by the Russian army. Zaporizhzhia is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
This attack on a nuclear power plant was an extremely dangerous and reckless action by Russia, because it created a high risk of spreading radioactive fallout over not only Ukraine but much of neighboring countries, including Russia, Poland, Belarus, and much of Europe.
As a civilian facility, attacking it could be considered yet another war crime committed by Russia as part of this unprovoked war against Ukraine.

War is only getting to sadness and poverty even they have other negotiations to avoid war. Some country leaders are not love their people and only want to show their power, so they create unnecessary fighting.

Zelensky is stupid, he should’ve negotiated and agreed not to join NATO and saved his country and people from this disaster. Ukraine never stood a chance against the might of the Russian military. NATO will never let Ukraine join NATO now that the country is in ruins and isolated from the sea as well as parts occupied by Russia already. Russia will not stop until Ukraine is ruined and/or fully occupied. Asking for no fly zone is pointless as Russia hasn’t fully utilised their air force and risks direct confrontation with NATO and the start of WW3.
I think you should realize that he can’t just bow down to what Putin want just because of what is happening. Many people suffered and died yet Ukrainian people are still willing to fight for their sovereignty, for freedom. I don’t think that’s pride at all.
Also come to think of it, if Putin sees that he has the capability to let a country bow down to him then you better wish he’s not gonna think of invading other smaller countries.
@Chaeline SP most ukrainians don’t know the situation, they only know they’re being invaded and want to fight the invaders. zelensky made sure to keep ukrainians ignorant, by shutting down the media stations that do not cooperate with him and imprisoning politicians of the opposition parties.

its major failure of Zelenskyy’s diplomacy, he tried to become an idealist, he thought its like movies, where protagonist can bring sudden changes, but that’s simply NOT true in real world. There are tons of challenges and one has to balance the egos of others.

Why would Russia attack the administration building of this nuclear power plant? There was a peaceful handover of Chernobyl. Why would in need to attack the administration building of this nuclear plant? Who would want to stirr such uproar over an attack? Who would most benefit? The weapons used were not powerful enough to hurt the actual plant itself.

exactly. My position is, Urkraine either needs to A. shut down those plants or B. hand them over. Tactically they need to do that for all regions (nuclear or not) but for safety they need to do that to the nuclear plants at min.
