Anonymous declared cyberwar vs Russia in assistance of Ukraine. A lot of attacks have been thefts and leaks of Russian government or military information, takedowns of Russian websites, and DDOS attacks, primary against Russian military and government sites.
* DDOS is a dispersed denial of service, developed by saturating the target with a lot web traffic from a huge number of coming from computer systems, usually from a botnet (a big network of computer systems spread all over the world that have been hacked and contaminated with a virus that makes them accept directions and do the bidding of individuals that manage the botnet).
Confidential has prevented targets that would endanger the safety of the Russian public, such as traffic controls, weapons systems, and other systems turned over with life-and-death matters.

I think Anonymous should focus on disabling Russia’s nuclear capabilities. Telling the Russian people the truth doesn’t take Putin’s finger off the button.

I don’t know if anyone will read it, but… I have an idea how we can reach Russian citizens to make them aware of the current situation. You can use Russian Wikipedia, anyone can edit Wikipedia, so you can replace the content of the articles with the one describing the situation in Ukraine, but preferably in Russian, because many Russians do not know English.
